The day

So we have set our engagement date which is on the 19 of December, Friday. Place will be anounce later. My parents and other family members are told about this and everyone especially me are so excited.

My GF: Did your mom inform you regarding the hantaran (gift to the lady’s side)

Me: Yes, she did. The gifts would be a sirat (native underwear for men), a parang (traditional sword) and a tupi ( a native hat for hunting).

So these are the conversations of a ‘soon-to-be’ husband and wife where all the details must be precise and correct. Well, marriage is not a joking matter infact it’s the most serious business in ones life. Marriage should be forever, until eternity.

I respect those who are married and managed thier family well. I respect my parents for being able to raised us all so well until i realised that it is my turn now.

I already have a wedding planner, non other else than my own sister Dolina. Start the plan NOW, sis! Make the event as part of the world’s history if you may, but no black out or flood please! As long everyone remember that day, it’s sufficient for me.

And as for me, let lose a bit, emm maybe 10 to 15 kg will you abet??
